After completion of higher secondary education, the best option for science stream student is to stay in one’s field only. B.Sc. is next level for them. B.Sc. or Sc.B. is the short form for Bachelor of Science. It is an academic degree awarded to undergraduate students. It came in vogue in 1860 when the University of London started this new course. In India, one can do B.Sc. or B.Sc. Honours by selecting science subject of one interest from various choices like physics, chemistry, biology, botany, zoology, anthropology, biotechnology, etc. B.Sc. Honours are more valuable as many universities have reserved seats in post graduation. Generally, B.Sc. is of 3 years duration, every year having two semesters.
