Eligibility Criteria – Ph.D. Eligibility
Candidates, who have obtained a Master’s Degree from papers securing at least second class with minimum of 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC / ST, Differently Abled candidates) or equivalent grade and / or by research from any Goa University, or from any other University recognized by Goa University, are eligible to register for the PhD Degree.
PhD Admissions 2017 Age Limit:
Candidates should have 28 years by UGC, age relaxation up to 5 years for OBC/SC/ST/PHC and women applicants. The applicant must be less than 28 years of age.
Ph.D. Admissions 2017 Application and Entrance date:
Goa Universities’ web portals are open for inviting applications in the months of May and June every year. Generally, entrance examination conducted in July or August months.
Ph.D.Admissions 2017 Application Form:
Interested candidates can apply for Ph.D entrance examination through online registration. The applicants may get the form from Form Distribution Counter of the respective universities.
Ph.D. Admissions 2017 Procedure:
Candidates can apply online through the university portals. Applicants fill the application form and the fee can pay the respective bank branch or through net-banking.
The applicant should keep a hard copy of the form for future reference.
Ph.D Admissions 2017 Follow-up
The candidate should follow official websites of institutions which can be applied. General results announced within a month or two (not more than two). The candidates are chosen on the basis of merit made with combined marks of entrance and master’s degree.
