M.Phill Admission in Madhya Pradesh

The Integrated M. Phil in Madhya Pradesh–Ph.D. Programme is five years full-time Program. The candidates admitted to Integrated M. Phil – Ph. D Programme will follow a common course curriculum. However, for M. Phil in Education, Health System Studies, Women's Studies, Rural Development, Development Studies, Disaster Studies, Inclusive Development and Social Justice there will be a subject specific taught M. Phil. Program of the four semesters. First year of the program comprises of course work while in the second year, students will work towards completing their M.Phil Dissertation program.

The Ph.D. Programme is mainly designed for candidates with a minimum of five years of post-graduate relevant experience in the field being proposed for the research program by the candidate. Candidates who are selected can pursue Ph.D. either by staying on any University/ Institute from whichever location they are based on.

Program duration for M.Phil.

The duration of the program is as following four semesters.

1^st Semester: 4 courses + 1 Seminar

2^nd Semester: 3 courses + First stage of the dissertation

3^rd Semester: 1 course + R & D project

4^th Semester: Second and third stages of the dissertation

Eligibility criteria

Candidates of the general category must score an aggregate of 55% and above in post-graduation in their respective subject.

A relaxation of 5% in aggregate will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates having domicile of Madhya Pradesh only.

The basis of selection is purely on merit, through the entrance exam conducted by the university

Students awaiting their results are also eligible to apply. They must submit the related documents at the time of counseling

Reservation to SC, ST, OBC, FF & Physical handicapped will be as per MP Govt. / University rules.

Selection of the candidates for all the courses is done on the basis of merit in the entrance test, career, and interview conducted by the specific university.
