Diploma in Education i.e. D. Ed is an educational degree. The main purpose of this course is to develop quality in teaching, and this quality includes the quality of the teacher, competence & character of the teacher. Until adoption of NPE this support in the area of D. Ed (Diploma in Education) was being provided largely at National and State level only by Institution like NCERT, NIEPA & SCERTs. This education helps in bringing the teaching and learning process to a standard level.
On behalf of the Madhya Pradesh council of educational research and training shall release in July/ August 2017, the notification in respect of counseling for admission into the 1st year of the D. Ed course 2017-2019 commencing in October 2017

Admission procedure
Admission in D. Ed program would be offered as per the merit list & wait list in case of the seat left vacant by the candidates due to certain reasons and as many as four counseling rounds followed by wait list /Spot round admission.
Eligibility criteria
Applicant must be passed in 10+2 with any stream & should have minimum 50% marks. And the degree must be recognized by the central government / Madhya Pradesh State Government.
