Andhra University, Visakhapatnam conducts Andhra University Research Common Entrance Test (AURCET) for Ph.D. programs of Andhra University.
Eligibility:-
Postgraduate degree holders with at least 55% of marks (50% in the case of SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent CGPA in the concerned subject or in an allied subject or any other PG Degree recognized by the university as equivalent thereto prescribed in eligibility criteria can apply for full-time M. Phil. / Ph.D. degree. They must qualify in AURCET.
Educational Qualification:
One can apply for Ph.D. by getting JRF scores in UGC NET, UGC, CSIR NET, GATE, etc. For this applicant must have 55% aggregate marks in his/her master’s degree. The qualifying marks may vary from institute to institute. Mostly for Ph.D. admission, all universities demand 6.75 CGPA in M.Tech, M.E., M.D., M.A, M.Sc. M.B.B.S.
Age Limit:
Applicant must be under 28 years of age. If a candidate applies to out of this way, then there is no age limit prescribed by the institute.
