Ph.D. Admissions Educational Qualifications
The institutes conduct an entrance test and compulsory interview for selection of students. Any candidate having 55% aggregate marks (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PHC) in master’s degree or who is in the last semester of their masters can apply for the entrance test. UGC NET, CSIR NET, GATE scores are also needed if one applies directly without entrance test. The candidate should make a mind for their research area by the time of interview. Members of work associations like Institute of Chartered Accountants having experience of 5 years are also eligible for Ph.D.
Ph.D. Admissions Age Limit
Age is no bar for applicants applying directly. However UGC NET has aged for applying for JRF as not more than 28 years.
Ph.D. Admissions Application Form
The application form is available on websites of universities 3-4 months prior to the entrance exam. The entrance exam is held in the months of July and August.
Ph.D. Admissions Application Procedure
One can apply online. Educational qualification and personal details are to be filled in the form. Application fee can be paid through net-banking and after this form is finally submitted online only.
